Can the meter be read?
We check the protocol and access, then perform a test read to establish whether the selected device can be used with an existing adapter.
Your meter is already measuring. Let's see whether its data is usable.
We connect one existing, supported meter to a temporary data acquisition gateway for one month and verify the data connection. Around 20 charts with different breakdowns, plus CSV and PDF exports, help you review the data and decide whether to expand.
Read-only access · Standard integration · Compatibility checked before we start

For industrial sites with a communication-enabled consumption meter where the data is not yet visible or verified, or where the next steps are unclear.
We check the protocol and access, then perform a test read to establish whether the selected device can be used with an existing adapter.
We examine sample validity, timestamps, data gaps and agreement with the meter.
The findings help establish whether the meter can support further energy analysis and what is needed for the next step.
We use a repeatable, standard solution. Technical compatibility is established during the preliminary assessment.
One site, one existing supported meter and one documented Modbus or API connection. Read-only access, using an existing adapter and a standard dashboard.
Timestamped cumulative import kWh and a quality indicator, plus active power in kW where supported. Resolution can be as fine as one minute with a supported meter and data connection. For an additional fee, we can supply a meter capable of second-level resolution; this meter is not included in the service fee. We verify and agree the actual resolution before starting.
Around 20 charts with different breakdowns in the interface, CSV and PDF exports, and a brief handover report. A temporary Raspberry Pi / Node-RED gateway is deployed for the one-month pilot. The specific views depend on the meter data available.
Full implementation starts only once access is confirmed, a test read is successful and a reusable adapter and dashboard panel are available.
We review the meter and protocol documentation supplied in advance, check access and perform a test read. The preliminary assessment takes up to two hours and results in a GO or NO-GO decision.
HUF 50,000 net, included in the total service fee.
Following a positive decision, we configure the gateway, standard adapter and interface for the one-month pilot. Within this period, a technical acceptance test covering at least 72 consecutive hours verifies the data and its agreement with the meter.
The pilot lasts one month. The 72-hour technical acceptance test takes place within it; it is not the duration of the full pilot.
You receive CSV and PDF exports and the handover report. We demonstrate around 20 charts and their different breakdowns, then record the conditions for the next steps. At the end of the one-month pilot, we collect the gateway and close temporary access.
Ongoing operation and data retention require a separate agreement.
We agree the technical acceptance test criteria before the trial. The charts, CSV and PDF exports, data quality and agreement with the meter demonstrate successful integration.
This verifies the integration; it is not meter certification. The thresholds below apply to the 72-hour technical acceptance test, not to a month-long availability guarantee. The pilot does not include a savings guarantee.

If the criteria are not met: we document the reasons and the conditions for continuing. Extending the one-month pilot or expanding the scope requires a separate written agreement.
Net service fee + VAT
The total customer price comprises the service fee and separately specified additional items. We agree these before starting.
Up to two hours. Documentation review, access checks, a test read and a decision on whether to proceed.
Only after a positive technical decision (GO). Standard integration, data verification and the handover package.
Hardware use and deployment/collection logistics, travel, and any necessary platform or licence fees. The optional meter Scepi can supply for second-level resolution is charged separately and is not included in the HUF 400,000 service fee. Configuration and on-site handling services are included in the pilot.
All amounts shown are net of VAT. The pilot is a one-off service with no automatic subscription.
In the event of NO-GO: only the HUF 50,000 preliminary assessment fee and previously approved costs are payable. The HUF 350,000 stage does not start.
Before we start: documentation, access, costs and the deployment window must be agreed. The full pilot starts only after a successful test read.
It can use an existing, supported meter with a documented Modbus or API connection that can be read using an existing adapter. We check compatibility, access and achievable resolution during the preliminary assessment. A meter supplied by Scepi can also be agreed for an additional fee. Developing a new adapter is a separate task.
The pilot only reads meter data. It does not write to a PLC or meter, switch loads, or include operational control or BESS intervention.
The pilot and temporary gateway deployment last one month, with start and end dates agreed in advance. Within this period, the 72-consecutive-hour technical acceptance test checks data quality and agreement with the meter. The minimum 98% valid-sample rate applies to this test, not to a month-long SLA. An extension requires a separate agreement.
Implementation does not start following a NO-GO decision. The HUF 50,000 net preliminary assessment fee and previously approved costs are payable; the additional HUF 350,000 stage is not. We document what prevents further progress.
You receive CSV and PDF exports and the handover report. The interface provides around 20 charts with different breakdowns; the specific views depend on the meter data available. At the end of the one-month pilot, the temporary gateway returns to Scepi and pilot access ends. A permanent dashboard, data storage, licensing and operation require a separate agreement.
The pilot verifies reliable meter data and the integration. Estimating or demonstrating savings requires a longer, representative data set, tariff information and operational context. The pilot does not include a savings guarantee.
The HUF 400,000 net service fee includes the HUF 50,000 preliminary assessment and HUF 350,000 implementation stage following a GO decision. Hardware use, logistics, travel and any required licence are separate items agreed before starting. The optional meter enabling second-level resolution is also excluded from this price. The complete quotation includes the separately priced items.
Resolution can be as fine as one minute with a supported meter and data connection. This is not available with every existing meter. For an additional fee, we can supply a meter capable of second-level resolution. The optional meter is not included in the service fee; we agree the actual resolution and technical requirements before starting.
A possible next step is to examine energy consumption and energy cost per unit of production. This requires a verified source of production data, a common time base and an agreed method of allocating costs.
Additional meters, a permanent EMS, optimisation studies and control solutions can be introduced following a separate assessment and quotation.
For the initial discussion, please have the meter model, protocol documentation and a brief description of network access ready. These allow us to start preparing the pilot.
